Kareena Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Jaane Jaan, shared a new poster of the thriller. The actress also announced the release date of the trailer. The film co-stars Vijay Varma, Jaideep Ahlawat and Naisha Khanna.

Kareena Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to share a new poster of her upcoming thriller, featuring her with her on-screen daughter Naisha Khanna. In the poster, the 42-year-old actress held a fierce gaze as she turned protective of her teen daughter, who looked at something over her shoulder. Jaane Jaan trailer will be released on September 4.

Sharing the poster, Kareena wrote, "The thrill is just around the corner... and it’s coming to you in 3 days! #JaaneJaan trailer 3 Days to go."

What is the plot of Jaane Jaan?

Reportedly, Kareena plays the role of a single mother Maya D’Souza, who gets involved in a murder. The film stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma as Naren and Karan respectively.

The film marks the first time collaboration between Kareena, Vijay and Jaideep. Speaking about casting the trio, director Sujoy Ghosh told IANS that it was a result of luck, skill and good vibes. “It felt like the universe was at work because it was such a huge coincidence that led up to Kareena being cast in the film. For me, after having this script for 11 years, having Kareena play the role of Maya made sense instantly, it was a meant-to-be kind of situation," he said.

Jaane Jaan will premiere on OTT on September 21.
