However, the two allegedly parted ways soon after as Sara previously confessed to starting 2020 with a breakup. The actors recently reunited at Gadar 2 success party and shared a warm hug.

The Gadar 2 team hosted a success party for the film on Saturday in Mumbai. The star-studded event saw the attendance of several celebrities including Kartik and Sara. The Satyaprem Ki Katha actor sported a brown shirt and black pants while Sara was seen in a pink jumpsuit. Her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan also joined her at the event. 

In a viral video, Kartik and Sara were seen leaving the party together with Kriti Sanon. The Shehzada star said goodbye to both the actresses Kriti and Sara with loving hugs and smiles. This touching encounter spread like wildfire online, reawakening the interest of followers who had once shipped the couple known to fans as Sartik.

Reportedly, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan fell in love on the sets of Imtiaz Ali's film Love Aaj Kal 2. From dinner dates to long drives, they were often spotted together. After the movie tanked at the box office, it was reported that the couple parted ways amicably. Last year, it was confirmed on a talk show by Sara that she indeed dated Kartik albeit for a short period of time.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in Chandu Champion. The actor will be playing Paralympic athlete Murlikant Petkar. He will also start working on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 soon. Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, has projects like Ae Watan Mere Watan, Metro…In Dino, Murder Mubarak, and an untitled project by Jagan Shakti in the pipeline.
