Maheep Reveals One Night Stand With Sanjay Ended In Marriage, Says She Met Her Family 'Dead Drunk'

Reality star Maheep Kapoor has now become famous after featuring in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood. In a recent interaction, she has revealed few interesting details about her marriage and how she met Sanjay Kapoor for the first time.

Maheep Kapoor: I never knew I was going to get married to him

In a chat with Raunak Rajani on his show, Maheep who is currently seen in the Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood has revealed few details of her love story with Sanjay Kapoor. She said, “Ours was quite simple. I just had a one-night stand with a man and I never knew I was going to married to him. I gatecrashed his party, that’s where I met him. Dead drunk. I met the whole family, mother-in-law and father-in-law. You guys know my family na? Anil, Sunita, Sridevi. I was dead drunk”.

She further shared, "We didn’t have all this proposal and all. I am much older than you. We didn’t have Instagram. So, we didn’t give a s***. He just told me, 'Look, we are getting married”.

"We were in the 1900s, a nightclub in Colaba Taj. We were drunk. We were partying. He said, 'Okay, we are getting married. So I said, 'Okay, fine,' in between my tequila shots. That was it. We didn't do this proposing, getting down on our knees for Instagram, speech”, she concluded.

Sanjay Kapoor married his longtime girlfriend and former actress Maheep Sandhu in 1997. The couple have two children, Shanaya and Jahaan Kapoor.

For the unversed, Maheep Kapoor is a jewellery designer. Prior to this, she was a model and had a few acting stints. Maheep Kapoor was also the runner-up at the Miss India pageant in 1993.
