Animal teaser release date unveiled in new poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal will hit the big screens on December 1, after being postponed once. Ahead of the film’s release, a new poster of the film was released today (September 18).  Along with the new poster, the makers have also unveiled the release date of the film’s teaser.

• Animal was initially scheduled to release on August 11. 
• The film is directed by Arjun Reddy famed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. 
• The action film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. 

Ranbir Kapoor looks mystic in new Animal poster 

On September 18, the lead actor of the film, Rashmika Mandanna took to her Instagram story to share the poster of the film. The new poster is centred around the character of Ranbir Kapoor. In the poster, the Barfi! actor can be seen smoking a cigarette while donning a dapper look.

A blue suit-clad Ranbir Kapoor can be seen posing with a lighter in his hand in the new poster of the film. The film will hit theatres worldwide on December 1. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. 

Animal teaser date unveiled 

Along with the poster, the teaser date of the film has also been announced. The first teaser of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer will be released on September 28 at 10 AM, which is the actor’s birthday. It has become a common practice for filmmakers to release teasers, trailers and other major announcements on the birthdays of lead actors. 

The teaser comes after the pre-teaser of the film was released on June 11. The video opens with what appears to be Kapoor, grabbing an axe hanging on the wall. He is sporting veshti and long hair. In the next frame, we see men in turban singing the Punjabi song while the actor can be seen fighting several people. Animal is helmed by the Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
