Trisha Krishnan to make her Bollywood comeback after 13 years? Here's what we know

Trisha Krishnan, one of the most talked about actress in the South, is reportedly set to make her Bollywood comeback after a gap of 13 years after the 2010 film Khatta Meetha. The film also starred Akshay Kumar, but it didn't make an impact at the box office, shifting Trisha's focus back to South film industry. But, now, according to the latest buzz Trisha will be seen in a big Bollywood film. Here's what we know.

Trisha to make her comeback in Bollywood

According to reports, the Leo star has signed a Hindi film which will be directed by highly-acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan. The film is reportedly titled The Bull and star one of the biggest superstars of Bollywood alongside the actress.

What do we know about The Bull?

The Bull is touted to be an action-packed thriller film with a unique narrative. The film will reportedly delve into the biopic of India's paratroopers, led by Brigadier Farouk Bulsara during the intense 1988 Operation Cactus. An important intervention in the Maldives Coup.

When Trisha made her Bollywood debut

Trisha Krishnan made her Bollywood debut more than 13 years ago with the 2010 film Khatta Meetha, also starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The film is directed by Priyadarshan. The film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 35 crores and earned Rs 62 crores. 

What's more for Trisha?

Trisha, who is currently basking in the success of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo, has two big projects in her kitty. The actress will be seen in the Tamil film Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar. The actress other project is a Malayalam film with the 2018 star Tovino Thomas. The film is titled Identity and the actors are currently shooting for the film.
