Vicky Kaushal is currently basking in the success of his recently released movies Bad Newz, co-starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The actor is now gearing up for the release of his first period drama Chhava, which is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. A few months ago, he announced the film wrap and the movie is now in the post-production stage. 

As the actor is awaiting the release, he opened up about his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who will be playing the role of his wife, Yesubai. In a recent interview, the actor shared his experience working with her and couldn't help but gust about the actress.

She's the most collaborative person: Vicky Kaushal about Rashmika Mandanna

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Vicky was asked about Rashmika and he said that she is "amazing". He added that she is "full of warmth and positivity" all the time. "I used to tell her that when she comes [to the set] there's just a vibe of positivity. She's the sweetest person and the most collaborative person," he continued. Opening up about his experience working with her, the actor said that he had a "great" time with he on Chhava. Whenever they met each other, they couldn't help but smile seeing each other. He concluded by saying that he doesn't know how she manages to be so full of joy all the time.

What do we know about Chhava?

Helmed by Laxman Utekar,  the movie chronicles Maratha emperor Sambhaji, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Apart from Vicky and Rashmika, the movie also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 6 this year.
