'I had trouble coming to terms with that reality'

Vicky Kaushal said that he initially struggled to come to terms with the fact that he could capture Katrina Kaif's attention. Contrary to assumptions, the actor shared that it wasn't the actress' superstar status or glamour that attracted him. Instead, he fell in love with the "human side" of Katrina.

"I had trouble coming to terms with that reality. Those factors were never the reason why I fell in love with Katrina. When I came to know the human side of her, I fell in love with her. When I got to know her, I was fully in love with her, and I would want to have her as my life companion,” he said.

Vicky admitted that he felt odd receiving attention from her, even wondering. But he also clarified that their mutual attraction was genuine, with both of them equally attentive towards each other. He described the initial phase of their relationship as awkward, often contemplating why he was the one being noticed. However, Vicky praised Katrina for her compassion towards others and the environment, considering it a "turn-on" for him.
