Wamiqa Gabbi reveals she had blink-and-miss appearances in Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal

Actress Wamiqa Gabbi currently has several exciting projects in the lineup. The actress, who will be seen in an Atlee production next year, recently opened up about being bitten by the acting when she was just a child. Gabbi revisited several big banner projects which featured her in blink-and-miss appearances.

Wamiqa Gabbi on holding roles in Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and more

As per a Pinkvilla report, Wamiqa Gabbi recently opened up about the roles she held in two major Imtiaz Ali directorials. These include the Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor led cult film Jab We Met which released in 2007. All of 14 years old, she had essayed the role of Geet and Roop's cousin. Cut to 2009, the actress also had a brief appearance in Love Aaj Kal, also helmed by Imtiaz Ali. 

As a matter of fact, the actress also revealed that she is still in touch with Imtiaz Ali. Quipping about their equation, Wamiqa shared how he still refers to her as the 'younger one', in reference to the role she essayed in Jab We Met. She said, "He still calls me chhoti wali..." Notably, Wamiqa held a similarly timed role in the Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor led Pankaj Kapur directorial, Mausam, which released in 2011.

Wamiqa has a string of projects lined up

Wamiqa last made an appearance in the Tabu led Netflix spy thriller, Khufiya. In it, she essayed the role of Charu Ravi Mohan.

The actress is currently filming for Tamil film Genie as well as VD18 which will be led by Varun Dhawan. VD18 is the Atlee production Wamiqa will be a part of. She has also completed filming for Punjabi release, Kikli.
