War 2: Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR starrer begins filming in Spain? Ayan Mukerji's pics with crew go viral

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, who will be collaborating for the second instalment of War, have seemingly started filming for the flick which will tentatively release next year. It has been reported that Ayan Mukerji will be helming the film. Although there is no confirmation by Yash Raj Film, a Reddit and X (formerly Twitter) user shared several photos from Spain, featuring the Brahmastra director with a crew.

Has War 2 gone on the floors?

In the images going viral on the internet, Ayan can be seen walking on the streets of Spain with Indian and international crew members. Some other photos show how the location has been transformed into a set. The caption read, "The wait is over, get ready for Yudhabhumi. Shoot started. #HrithikRoshan #JrNTR" Apart from photos, several videos have also surfaced online in which Ayan can be seen seemingly filming a car chase sequence.

Kiara Advani to join Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR War 2?

There has been a lot of speculation about who the leading actress of the film will be. Recently, there were reports that suggested Satyaprem Ki Katha actress Kiara Advani would join the star cast of War 2. However, during an interview with the Film Companion, the actress cryptically replied to the reports and said, "While I would love to do an action film, I would love to work with all the people you have mentioned, I cannot speak further on any other movie. Until a production house announces what’s next, I can’t speak on it. Though I would really love to on many other projects but I stay tight-lipped for now."

Meanwhile, it is expected that the film will be released next year in the second half of the year. However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the news. Speaking about the first instalment, the film was helmed by Siddharth Anand and starred Hrithik Roshan alongside Tiger Shroff.
