Cindy Morgan, known for her part in films like Tron and Caddyshack, has died at the age of 69. A representative for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed her death to Fox News Digital on Saturday (January 6). The actress passed away due to natural causes a few days ago.
Cindy Morgan’s rise to fame
Morgan, who was born Cynthia Ann Cichorski in Chicago, Illinois, on September 29, 1954, was the first member of her family to enroll in college. She studied communications at Northern Illinois University. She spent some time working in radio and local news before relocating to Los Angeles in 1978.
She rose to fame as the Irish Spring girl when she starred in Irish Spring commercials the following year. She was also taking acting classes and workshops during that period. Moran made her feature film debut in the 1979 movie Up Yours.
Cindy Morgan’s famous roles
Morgan's most well-known role is probably that of Lacey Underall in the well-known 1980 comedy Caddyshack opposite Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and Rodney Dangerfield. In this role, Morgan plays the attractive niece of the owner of a country club, who attracts the interest of almost all of the male characters. She was memorable as the movie's main seductress and appeared in quite a few scenes.
She made guest appearances on TV shows like The Love Boat, Vega$, and Chips before starring in the 1982 sci-fi film Tron as computer programmer Lora Baines and her computer-generated alter ego, Yori. In the 2003 video game Tron 2.0, she made a comeback to the Tron universe as Ma3a's voice.
Cindy's resume included 37 acting credits, and it looks like she'd been active as recently as 2022 with a voice role in an indie flick.
