Farah Khan, a well-known face in the glamour industry, has helmed several Bollywood films. The filmmaker married fellow director Shirish Kunder in 2004 and embraced motherhood through IVF in 2008. While TV actress Debina Bannerjee married Gurmeet Choudhary has always been vocal about challenges she faced in having kids. The duo in a recent blog  opened about their share of struggles with IVF.

The conversation happened when Farah Khan was invited by Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bannerjee hosted dinner for their food vlog. During the vlog, Debina asked Farah how she managed three kids? Farah replied, “Managing one or three kids’ efforts are the same. All three wouldn’t come to me at the same time. So Shirish would help in carrying and taking care of them. I think usually parents of one child feel more hyper, 3 bacchon mein toh abhi chhod do kya karen. Yes, backaches are forever, even today when I get out of the car I feel that sudden pain.”

When Debina asked if any of the kids are mischievous, Farah said, “My kids are very shaant and well behaved. I still think that they might be exchanged in the hospital. They are very quiet, I wanted at least one to be mischievous but they aren’t.”

Farah Khan also revealed an interesting detail that she and Debina shared the same doctor for the process of IVF. Gurmeet then opened up about the pregnancy “We got confidence because of her, we had given up that it wouldn’t happen only.” Farah and Debina shared how the IVF failures affected hormones. Debina later revealed that she suffered from depression due to the IVF attempts.

Debina Bonnerjee’s struggle with IVF

During a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Debina Bonnerjee got candid about her failed IVF attempts. The actor revealed that her husband and she opted for IVF as they were unable to get pregnant naturally. However, several things came into consideration during the process. Bonnerjee recalled how there were times when one of the tests showed they were pregnant but the follow-up tests came out to be negative. She revealed, "the first time it happened the doctor actually wrote to me congratulations when I showed her my test report."
