Gayatri Joshi makes first public appearance with husband Vikas Oberoi after Italy car crash | PHOTOS

Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi were recently involved in a car accident in Italy. Almost a month after the accident, the couple walked the red carpet at the Jio World Plaza inaugural night on October 31. The actress, best known for her role in Swades, glammed up for the star-studded event hosted by the Ambani family. 

Gayatri Joshi stuns in yellow at Jio World Plaza opening 

On October 31, the Swades actress walked hand-in-hand with her husband on the red carpet. The appearance marks their first attendance since their car crash incident on October 2. For the night, Joshi looked classy in a yellow-coloured midi dress. 

Gayatri Joshi donned a bright yellow-coloured, fitted midi-dress for the mall opening. Her dress was adorned with ruffle details on the sleeves. She teamed her look with a small heart-shaped bag and high heels. Her businessman husband Vikas Oberoi looked crisp in a black suit teamed with a blue, checked shirt. 

What happened to Gayatri Joshi? 

On October 2, Gayatri and her husband survived a nearly fatal accident. The car crash that took place in Sardinia, Italy left two Swiss nationals dead. As per media reports, Vikas was driving one of the cars involved in the crash, but there was no evidence holding him guilty of any crime. A video of the crash between a Lamborghini and a Ferrari went viral on social media. 

Oberoi Realty, the company run by Vikas issued a statement post the accident that read, “Our chairman and managing director Mr Vikas Oberoi and his wife Mrs Gayatri Oberoi had met with an accident in Sardinia, Italy on 2nd October 2023. By God's grace, they both are unhurt and have returned back home to Mumbai safely.”
