Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently offered a glimpse into his luxurious home in an interview with Film Companion. The actor proudly revealed that he designed the bungalow himself, drawing on his background in architecture and creating the sketches for the house.
Nawazuddin talks about his dream home
Named Nawab, the house features blue and white exteriors and is surrounded by lush greenery. Inside, the living room is adorned with elegant art, comfortable furniture, and numerous books. Instead of decorating with his own photos, Nawazuddin chose to fill the space with paintings of notable figures and movie posters. He stated in Hindi, "I will never want to see my face plastered across my home."
The living room boasts a timeless and intimate rustic decor, while the dining area offers a more formal ambiance with grey and wooden chairs and sheer white curtains. Throughout the duplex, awards and film posters highlight his illustrious career. Nawazuddin also designed an inviting outdoor seating area on the terrace, complete with marble flooring and glass doors, enhancing the home's tranquility. He used money plants to add greenery to various spaces.
What's next for Nawazuddin?
Nawazuddin, known for his roles in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, The Lunchbox, Raman Raghav 2.0, and Manto, is preparing for the release of his next film, Rautu Ka Raaz. In this film, he plays a police officer in a picturesque village in Uttarakhand, where the story revolves around a town that hasn't seen a murder in over fifteen years. The film also features Rajesh Kumar, Atul Tiwari, and Narayani Shastri in supporting roles. Rautu Ka Raaz premiered at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) last year and is scheduled for its OTT premiere on ZEE5 on June 28.
