Megan Thee Stallion’s new song lyrics sparks rumours of ex Pardi Fontaine cheating on the rapper

Megan Thee Stallion and Pardi Fontaine broke up in May earlier this year. Now, the rapper seems to be taking a shot at her “cheating” ex in her new song Cobra. The lyrics of the track suggested she caught her boyfriend red-handed in a compromising position with some other girl, which has sparked rumours of her most recent ex, Pardi, cheating on her. 

Megan Thee Stallion addresses cheating rumours in Cobra 

Megan recalls the moment she discovered her partner was unfaithful in the scorching second verse of her new song, Cobra. The rapper sings, “Pulled up, caught him cheating, getting his d**k sucked in the same spot I'm sleeping. Lord, give me a break, I don't know how much more of this s*** I can take.” 

Even though Megan doesn't specifically mention any cheaters, fans quickly surmise that she is referring to her ex-partner, fellow rapper Pardison "Pardi" Fontaine. Whether guilty or not, Pardi posted a Future meme saying “It’s an evil world we live in,” and disabled his comments.

In 2020, the couple started dating and frequently shared images and videos of themselves on social media. However, after they stopped going out in public together and unfollowed each other on Instagram in the spring of this year, internet sleuths suspected a possible breakup. 

Rumors of their breakup began to circulate in May after Pardi recited a spoken-word poem about a “survivor but not a victim” that led some to assume it was directed at Megan. It appeared that Megan had moved on from Pardi when she was seen smiling and mingling with Romelu Lukaku at a wedding on Lake Como a few days later. Fans remained inquisitive as to why the relationship ended. The song seems to be putting an end to these inquiries.
