Sara Khan announces breakup with boyfriend Shantanu Raje, shares emotional note

Sara Khan has been in a relationship with Shantanu Raje since 2020. The actress made her relationship public when she decided to feature in a music video together. The Bidaai actress took to her Instagram account to announce split with her boyfriend.

Sara Khan asks for privacy amid breakup with boyfriend 

On December 13, Sara Khan took to her Instagram account to share the news of her breakup with her boyfriend. The news of their breakup comes amid the speculation of the actor tying the knot with Shantanu Raje, who is a pilot/entrepreneur. In the note, Sara mentioned that the couple had parted on amicable terms and requested people to give them privacy in the tough times. 

Sara Khan’s note read, “In light of mutual understanding, my partner and I have chosen to part ways and progress individually in our respective lives. We hold great admiration for each other and kindly request that our privacy be revered. Thank you for understanding.” 

When Sara Khan confirmed her relationship 

Earlier in 2022, Sara spoke about her relationship in an interview with Pinkvilla. The actress shared that she had kept the relationship under wraps till then because her boyfriend did not fancy the attention. She shared, “It is very much true. Yes, Shantanu and I are in a relationship. We have been dating for a while now. Both of us mutually decided to keep it under wraps, since he doesn't belong to showbiz. Now since both of us are comfortable about coming out in public, here we are." Shantanu added to this, "Yes Sara and I are truly, madly in love with each other.” 

Shantanu Raje does not hail from the entertainment industry originally. He works as a pilot and entrepreneur. He, however, made his showbiz debut with a music video. He was featured in the video of a romantic song alongside Sara Khan.
