After Oppenheimer Christopher Nolan Commences New Film: Cast, Plot, Release Date, All We Know So Far

Christopher Nolan is an iconic British-American film director, screenwriter, and producer who is known for creating exceptional sci-fi stories, such as Inception and Interstellar. Following his recent success with the period drama Oppenheimer, which even fetched him his first Academy Award, Nolan is now busy assembling the star cast for his next project. Recent reports reveal that he has brought more A-list actors on board for his upcoming multiverse.

Zendaya and Anne Hathaway join Matt Damon, and Tom Holland for Christopher Nolan's next

As Deadline reports, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan's upcoming film. Earlier than this, Matt Damon and Tom Holland were added as the first cast for the film. Tom Holland and Zendaya, a real-life couple, will work together again in this new project.

While this will be the first time Tom and Zendaya collaborate with Nolan, Anne Hathaway will reunite with the director. She previously worked with him on The Dark Knight Rises (2012), where she portrayed Catwoman alongside Christian Bale's Batman, and Interstellar (2014), in which she starred opposite Matthew McConaughey.

Matt Damon will also return to work with Nolan, following their collaborations on Interstellar and Oppenheimer.

Christopher Nolan has kept the plot under the wrap but booked the release date

As per reports, the plot details are being kept secret as of now, though sources suggest that the setting is not contemporary. It remains unclear whether the film is set in the past or future. Christopher Nolan, who wrote the script and will direct, is producing the movie alongside his wife, Emma Thomas, under their Syncopy banner. Universal Pictures will handle its distribution. 

This new project marks Nolan’s return to the studio behind his successful drama Oppenheimer, which grossed an impressive $976 million worldwide. Filming is set to begin in early 2025, with an Imax release scheduled for July 17, 2026.
