Anya Taylor-Joy got married to her musician boyfriend Malcolm McRae in a star-studded wedding in Italy on Tuesday. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in front of 150 guests at the historic Palazzo Pisani Moretta. The two dated for nearly 2 years before taking the next step in their relationship.

Anya sported a beige gown for her wedding ceremony with Malcolm. It featured embroidery and embellishments, including representations of birds and flowers across the bodice. She paired her bridal outfit with a white veil.

Anya first met Malcolm at The Queen's Gambit premiere in March 2021. The musician even wrote an original song for the actress two days after they met and released videos of him singing it on Instagram. She debuted her romance with the musician in May of the same year when they were spotted kissing in New York City. 

The couple went Instagram official in October when Malcolm shared a photo of himself holding hands with the actress captioning it, "supremely happy." Anya and Malcolm made one of their first public appearances together at the CAA Pre-Oscar Party in West Hollywood, California in 2022. Following the conclusion of the awards show, they went to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. 

By July 2022, the pair appeared to be engaged. At the time the actress was seen with a ring on her finger during an outing with Malcolm in Sydney. The Super Mario Bros. star has generally kept aspects of her private life secret, although she and Malcolm have occasionally made public compliments of one another. For instance, last year, Anya urged her fans to get tickets for Malcolm's band's joint North American tour with HAIM.
