Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney turns 26, throws 80s prom-themed birthday bash

Sydney Sweeney went all out with her birthday celebrations this year. The actress turned 26 in style with an unmissable over-the-top theme for her bash. Sweeney's celebrations entirely embraced the 80s prom theme as both the actress as well as her guests turned out in elaborate ensembles matching the party decor.

Sydney Sweeney rings in her 26th birthday 

The Euphoria actress took to her Instagram handle to share a reel capturing the essence of her birthday celebrations. For the 80s prom-themed bash, the actress opted for a pop pink satin dress with a dramatic frill and statement puffed-up sleeves. The 80s theme was highlighted with her bold makeup and permed hair. The party decorations, complete with mirrored disco balls, pink drapes, a lit-up dance floor and pink lighting, lived up to the theme.

Sweeney's guests too dressed for the theme, sharing several pictures from the bash. Present to ring Sweeney's birthday in, were Riverdale actress Camila Mendes, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Alexandra Shipp, singer Anitta and others. Sharing a glimpse of the birthday bash, Mendes wrote, "80’s prom night was rad Love youuuuu :)". Beckham's wish read, "Happy birthday beauty! I love you so much!!". Anitta's wish on the other hand read, "My first prom thanks to the bday girl @sydney_sweeney U deserve the best!!!"

Sydney Sweeney was last seen in crime-thriller Americana. She currently has four projects lined up, two of which she is co-producing. While the actress is executive producing Anyone But You, she is serving as a producer on Immaculate. She will also feature in both these projects. Besides this, Sydney will also star in Madame Web and Echo Valley, the latter of which she is currently filming for.
