Liam Payne's Girlfriend Kate Cassidy Reveals They Were About To Get Married, Shares His Note

An autopsy report confirmed that the 31-year-old died of trauma and haemorrhage. A week after the incident, Kate Cassidy shared a heartfelt message on social media about his passing, detailing their marriage plans.

On Wednesday, the social media influencer posted a series of photos on Instagram, along with a heartfelt letter dedicated to her late boyfriend.

Cassidy began her message to Payne with: "I don’t even know where to start. My heart is broken in ways that are beyond words. I wish you could see the immense impact you’ve had on the world, even though it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone—millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me."

She continued by saying, "You are so deeply loved," and expressed that she will love Payne "for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go."

She also shared a note Payne had written for her, recalling how they sat outside one evening, envisioning their future together. “I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it,” she wrote. The note read, "Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444."

She added, “Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You will always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.”

Liam Payne, the late British singer, and Kate Cassidy made their red carpet debut at The British Fashion Awards in December 2022. Two years later, after Payne's passing on October 16 at the age of 31, Kate is now opening up about their marriage plans.

Cassidy had previously shared her grief over Payne’s passing in an Instagram post on 18 October, just days after his death. She and the "Strip That Down" singer had made their relationship public in 2022.
