Stray Kids added another feather to their hat by winning an accolade at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2023. The group won in the category for the Best K-pop Video for their hit track S-Class. The group was nominated for the VMA alongside BLACKPINK, Aespa, Fifty Fifty, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and Seventeen. Also, the group paused before leaving their seats at the event because they were stunned to win their first-ever VMA.

Stray Kids win their first VMA

After winning the VMA, Bang Chan told the audience after taking center stage, "Hello! We are Stray Kids we want to thank the VMAs for inviting us." 'We’ve been making our music ever since the start of our career, but to receive this award just really means a lot to us." He further added, "Felix has something to say as well."

"We just want to thank our label, JYP division 1, and we want to thank Republic Records. And also we want to thank our fans, our STAYs, for being so supportive. Please. We have so much to show you guys so please look forward to the future," said Felix. Not only that, but the band also performed their award-winning song S-Class at the VMAs.

Stray Kids perform at the VMAs

Stray Kids performed for the first time at the VMAs and stunned to audience with their act. The K-pop group performed on S-Class which also earned them the VMA the same night. The entire audience was seen having fun during their performance and cheered for them all along.
