Vijay Raghavendra opens up about Spandana's demise

Days after Spandana's sudden demise, Vijay Raghavendra shared some details about her final moments while promoting his film Kaddha Chithra. Speaking to a regional news channel NewsFirst, Vijay revealed that he was with his wife while she breathed her last.

He also disclosed that she was slipping away when he attempted to wake her up while they checked out of their hotel in Bangkok. He noticed that her pulse was dropping, following which he blanked out. However, he composed himself and rushed her to the nearest hospital but could not save her life.

Vijay's viral video with Spandana

In a video, Vijay Raghavendra got teary-eyed and talked about the kind of support Spandana gave him. "It's been a long journey. I have seen so many ups and downs in my life, and I had a very supportive family. After years, I met her, and she came into my life. She held my hand and said, Don't worry, I will always be with you in any situation. We have to face this life and enjoy our beautiful moments," he said. The video was reportedly shot two months before Spandana's death.
