Big Buzz/ BLACKPINK Jisoo, Yumi's Cells actor Ahn Bo-Hyun break up within a year of dating

BLACKPINK Jisoo and Korean actor Ahn Bo Hyun, who confirmed their relationship in August this year, have now seemed to be broken up. Reports of their separations surfaced online earlier today, which was soon confirmed by Jisoo’s agency YG Entertainment. 

Jisoo, Ahn Bo Hyun part ways 

According to a source, Jisoo and the Yumi’s Cells actor broke up because they grew apart and became overwhelmed with their daily job schedules. An industry insider revealed in an interview with JTBC that the couple mutually made the decision to end their relationship. 

After becoming a couple, they decided to return to their previous roles as coworkers. Later, YG Entertainment confirmed, “It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun broke up.”

Back in August, Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun made their romance public after their relationship was revealed by the news website Dispatch. YG Entertainment acknowledged the decision and kindly requested the support of their fans. The relationship was also verified by FN Entertainment, the representation company of Ahn Bo Hyun. 

Due to the fact that it was BLACKPINK's first formal relationship confirmation, the revelation attracted more attention than normal. The celebs' daring and self-assured move won over the fans' admiration. However, it was soon followed by the news of their separation. 

Ahn Bo-hyun, 35, is most known for his parts in the Korean television series Yumi's Cells, Itaewon Class, and See You in My 19th Life. 

Jisoo, 28, debuted in 2016 as a member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK. In March, this year she made her solo debut with the EP ME. The K-pop idol has also pursued acting as a career option in addition to music. She made her acting debut in a cameo appearance in the 2015 television series The Producers, and in the drama Snowdrop in 2021, she got her first major part.
