BTS members Jungkook and Jimin meet Jin, V to join special mission unit

BTS's Jimin and Jungkook are currently gearing up for their military enlistment. They are scheduled to enlist together on December 12, as per South Korean media. The duo will be joining their fellow member Jin, who is already serving as an instructor at the Army’s 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

The news has sparked excitement among BTS fans, anticipating the reunion of the boy band within the military ranks. Several comments flooded on social media, expressing joy at the prospect of BTS members coming together during their service. ARMYs voiced their support, foreseeing Jin's playful camaraderie and supportive role as the two rookies join the training unit.

Jungkook's echoes his sentiments on social media

In response to the enlistment news, Jungkook shared his thoughts on Weverse, expressing both gratitude and hesitance about the upcoming 18-month hiatus from the stage. Jin, known for his sense of humor, lightened the mood by playfully commenting on Jungkook's post, fostering anticipation for their reunion in their new roles as instructor and recruits.

V and RM's enlistment plans

V is scheduled to enter the Nonsan Army Training Center on December 11, applying to join the Capital Defense Command’s special mission unit. Similarly, RM is set to enlist on the same day, undergoing basic military training at the Nonsan training center before his unit assignment.

Meanwhile, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga are actively fulfilling their military duties. Jin enlisted last December and is currently an instructor, while J-Hope serves at the Baekho Recruit Training Center. Suga, enlisted in September, is contributing as a public service worker. Anticipation for the group's complete reunion post-June 2025 grows, with Jin and J-Hope expected to complete their military service next year.
