On November 23, the much-awaited teaser and poster for Gyeongseong Creature were unveiled. The teaser introduces viewers to Han So Hee's character, embarking on a quest to find someone, leading her to Park Seo Joon. The plot thickens as their search leads them to a hospital harbouring a mysterious creature, igniting a fight for survival.
Set against the backdrop of 1945 Seoul during the Japanese rule in Korea, Gyeongseong Creature transports audiences to a bygone era. The meticulous attention to detail, including costumes, set designs, vehicles, and props, promises to evoke a sense of time travel for viewers.
What do we know about Gyeongseong Creature?
Directed by Jung Dong Yoon, known for his work on the popular workplace sports drama Hot Stove League, and scripted by Kang Eun Kyun, acclaimed for hits like the Dr Romantic series, Where Stars Land, and What Happens to My Family, Gyeongseong Creature has a formidable creative team. In addition to the lead trio, the drama features Kim Hae Sook, Soo Hyun, Jo Han Chul, and others.
The drama unfolds in 1945 colonial South Korea under Japanese rule. Jang Tae Sang, portrayed by Park Seo Joon, is a multifaceted and affluent individual known for his intelligence and reliability. On the other hand, Yoon Chae Ok, played by Han So Hee, is an expert in finding missing people with a tough upbringing, proficient in self-defense. Their paths cross in a search for Yoon Chae Ok's mother.
