K-Drama Star Lee Si Young Files For Divorce With Cho Seong Hyun After 8 Years Of Marriage, Agency Requests Privacy

Lee Si Young, best known for her roles in Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss, has filed for divorce with Cho Seong Hyun after 8 years of marriage. Confirming the news, actress’ talent agency released a statement.

As per YTN’s news Lee Si Young and Cho Seong Hyun formally submitted divorce documents to the Seoul Fomily court earlier this year. The actress’ talent agency Ace Factory issued a statement which read, “They are in the process of getting a divorce through mutual agreement. As it is the actress’s private life, please understand that it is difficult to answer other questions besides this."

Soon this news sparked a heated discussion among netizens on social media and many were even shocked. One user wrote, “Omg?? I love that couple, their tiktok videos are cute”. Another user wrote, “It really shocked me after Kim Claudia and now she”. “This is shocking! How could it be”. For the unversed, Lee Si Young tied the knot with Cho Seong Hyun in September 2017. She gave birth to a boy on January 7, 2018.
