Leo second single Badass announced with new poster after audio launch event gets cancelled
After the success of Naa Ready, Leo's second single Badass will be out soon. The music of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer has been composed by Anirudh.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo is set to release worldwide in less than a month. The director's second film with Thalapathy Vijay, Leo is said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), an interconnected universe in the making featuring titles Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022). Despite the skyrocketing popularity of the film ahead of its trailer release, Leo fans were let down when the audio launch of the film was cancelled. However, a new single from the film is set for release soon.
3 things you need to know:
- The first single from Leo is called Naa Ready.
- Leo will release on October 19.
- No official event of the film is planned before its release as of now.
Leo’s second single titled Badass
Lokesh Kanagaraj took to X to announce Leo’s second single. He simply wrote, “Badass ma, Leo Das ma.” Moreover, he shared the poster for the film, which featured Thalapathy Vijay with a sword in his hand as he stood in front of a furnace. He seemed to be checking the sharpness of the sword with his pinky finger while the text, “Badass,” could be seen behind him. See the post below.
Lokesh Kanagaraj already working on next LCU film with Rajinikanth?
As director Lokesh Kanagaraj awaits the theatrical release of arguably one of the biggest Tamil films of the year, Leo, he has already commenced work on his next big banner cinematic offering - Thalaivar 171. While there have been enough speculations about which of Kanagaraj's future projects are part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, recent reports suggest one big release has made the cut while the other will be a standalone spectacle.
As per a Pinkvilla report, Thalapathy Vijay's Leo is officially a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. While there had been speculations regarding Thalaivar 171 being a part of the LCU, the same report also stated that Thalaivar 171, considering its scale, would be a standalone film and not a part of the LCU. There has been no confirmation on this, however, from official sources.
