Malayalam actress Dr Priya, 35, dies from cardiac arrest in third trimester of her pregnancy

Popular TV actress Dr Priya, who was heavily pregnant with her first child, died after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to media reports. Her sudden death was mourned by one of his colleagues on social media as well. As per Kishor Satya, the baby is currently in the ICU.

Kishor Satya says Dr Priya had no medical condition

In his long note remembering Dr Priya, Malayalam film and TV actor Kishor Satya wrote that the latter was not suffering from any other health issues. Sharing Dr Priya's photo, Satya wrote in the caption, "She went to hospital for routine checkup yesterday and suffered a sudden cardiac arrest there. When a person who is only 35 years old leaves this world, the mind is not allowing to say condolences. How will Priya's husband and mother recover from this collapse? Don't know (sic)."

Kishor Satya details how Dr Priya's family is coping with her death

Further in his caption, Kishor Satya revealed how Dr Priya's family is dealing with her death. He said that her mother was inconsolable as she was her only child. Her husband Nanna is also in a state of shock and is grieving, Satya shared. He further wrote, "Last night while going to the hospital, the sight of sadness rained in my mind. What will you say to comfort them. Why did God show this cruelty to those innocent minds who are believers? The mind kept repeating the questions. Unanswered questions (sic)."

In his post, Satya also referred to the death of actress Renjusha Menon, who was found hanging at her residence recently.

Dr Priya's work in the TV industry

Actress Priya worked in several TV serials. Kishor Satya and Priya were co-stars in the daily soap Karuthamuthu. Priya was also an MBBS and worked at a private hospital, reported manoramaonline.com. She earned praise from the small screen audience by playing character roles in several daily soaps.
