Vivekanandan Viralanu teaser: Shine Tom Chacko leads satire tackling sensitive subject with wit

The makers of Vivekanandan Viralanu along with Shine Tom Chacko, Manju Pillai and Swasika Vijay unveiled the teaser on Thursday, January 4. The film stars Shine Tom Chacko as Vivekanandan, who has libido issues. The teaser offers a glimpse of his roller-coaster journey to deal with the issue.

A glimpse of Vivekanandan Viralanu's teaser

The teaser opens with Vivekanandan visiting an Ayurveda doctor and complaining that the medicine he was given didn't work. The next few frames hint that he is dealing with a libido issue and is desperate for its cure. However, towards the end of the clip, it gets a bit serious as sensitive content related to Vivekanandan goes viral leading to a court case.

The teaser was released by Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, Mahima Nambiar, Neeraj Madhav and Aju Varghese through their social media handles.

Shine Tom Chacko also shared the teaser on his Facebook handle and captioned it as "Get ready for a cinematic journey like never before as the highly anticipated teaser for "Vivekanandan Viralanu" is finally here!"

The film is helmed by Kamal, known for his profound contributions towards the Malayalam industry in his career spanning four decades. Produced by Nediyath Naseeb and PS Shelli Raj under the banner of Nediyath Productions, Vivekanandan Viralanu stars Johnny Antony, Mareena Michael, Maala Parvathy, Manju Pillai, Neena Kurup, Aadya, Siddhartha Shiva and Sarath Sabha, in supporting roles.

Prakash Velayudhan is the cinematographer for the film, and Ranjan Pramod is in charge of the editing. The music is composed by Bijibal and the lyrics are penned by BK Harinarayanan. The film is slated for release this month, January 2024 but the makers are yet to announce the date.
