Master Peace teaser: Nithya Menen starrer promises to be a whacky comedy

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam web series Master Peace released a teaser this evening. The series stars Nithya Menen and Sharad U Deen as the lead couple. The web series will soon be released online on a leading streaming platform.

Master Peace is a playful spin on ‘The Great Indian Drama’

Directed by Sreejith N, Master Peace promises to be a light yet whacky comedy about a dysfunctional household. While the poster gives the vibe of a feel-good family series, the teaser is anything but that. The teaser begins with a tense discussion between two families who are seemingly talking about the marital issues faced by their children.

The following visuals are of heated arguments and fights between various members of the family, but mostly between the lead couple, played by Nithya Menen and Sharaf U Deen. Towards the end of the teaser, the word ‘drama’ turns into ‘trauma,’ leading the caption to read as ‘The Great Indian Trauma.’ The Master Peace teaser ends with a shot of a wine bottle being thrown on a Monalisa portrait. 

Master Peace will release in 7 languages 

The show’s female lead Nithya Menen was last seen in Kolambi. The OK Kanmani actress earlier took to her social media handle to share the teaser. She wrote in the caption, “Can't keep calm cause a Master 'Peace' is brewing." The series also stars Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Ashokan, and Shanthi Krishna.

The series director Sreejith N had previously directed the Biju Menon-starrer Oru Thekkan Thallu Case. This will be the second Malayalam web series for the said platform - they had earlier produced the series The Kerela Crime Files. Master Peace will release in 7 languages.
