Meet 'Stree' In Stree 2, The Titular Character In Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Horror Comedy

Stree 2 began its box office journey with a terrific start on Independence Day. The film is a sequel to the 2018 hit Stree, featuring comic duo Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The story returns to the town of Chanderi, offering more thrills, chills, and laughs in this supernatural comedy.

Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi also reprise their roles in the second installment. While Flora Saini portrayed the woman under the red veil in the first film, the end credits of this sequel reveal that Bhumi Rajgor has taken over the role of Stree 2, replacing Flora.

Who is Bhumi Rajgor?

Bhumi Rajgor is a Gujarati actress who appeared in Satyaprem Ki Katha last year. She is originally from Ahmedabad and started her acting career in Gujarati cinema. According to her IMDb page, she has worked on three projects including, Hurry Om Hurry (2023) and Fakt Mahilao Maate (2022) in Gujarati, and Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023) in Bollywood.

In Satyaprem Ki Katha, she portrayed Kiara Advani’s sister. Last year, Bhumi suggested she might have a similar role in an upcoming Bollywood film. With the release of Stree 2, it appears she was referring to Amar Kaushik’s film.

Netizens find a resemblance with Madhuri Dixit

As per Bhumi's social media presence, she has nearly 70,000 followers on Instagram. She has posted photos with several stars, including Kartik Aaryan and Madhuri Dixit. In her post with Kartik, she expressed excitement about playing a small role in a major Bollywood film set to release this year. When sharing a photo with Madhuri, she described it as a dream come true. In her comment section, many people commented that she resembles Madhuri.
