Miss Venezuela Ariana Vierad dies in car crash months after filming her own funeral video

Ariana Viera, the current Miss Venezuela, succumbed to her injuries from a car crash on July 13. The beauty queen was embroiled in a car crash in Florida last month. Her death comes two months after she recorded a spooky video for her own funeral.

What caused the accident? 

According to Ariana’s mother Vivian Ochoa, she passed away from her wounds after being engaged in a car accident on July 13 in Lake Nona, Orlando. She said that her daughter was tired and dozed off behind the wheel before slamming into the car in front of her. The Venezuelan model was getting ready to compete in a beauty contest in New York City at the time of the accident. 

Despite two attempts by paramedics to resuscitate her, she passed away on the way to the hospital. Vivian told local media, “They revived her and she then had a heart attack. They revived her again, but she passed away when they were taking her to trauma care. My girl fell asleep, she was tired.”

Ariana filmed for her funeral

In an unsettling turn of events, Ariana seemed to have foreseen her own death just months prior. “Filming myself for my future funeral since it is always me in the films, no one else does it,” she captioned a video she shared on Instagram on May 2.

In addition to her budding modelling career, Ariana managed her own business called Full House Cleaning. Local media reported that the victim's father, who resides in Peru, attempted to arrange a visa in time for his daughter's burial on July 16, but that the passport was supposedly provided one day too late.
