Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare on OTT: Kannada campus comedy set for digital premiere as Diwali special

Kannada blockbuster Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare was released in Telugu as Boys Hostel. After emerging as a sleeper hit in various languages, the comedy-drama is all set to premiere on OTT. The film's commercial success is all the more special considering it featured newcomers and is directed by debutante Nithin Krishnamurthy.

Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare sets OTT premiere date

Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare is a Kannada original campus comedy. While the original version of the film is streaming on Zee5 Kannada, the Telugu version of it will be available for streaming on  ETV Win. The streamer made this announcement ahead of Diwali. The Telugu version has the cameo of Rashmi Gautam.

Debutants Prajwal BP, Manjunath Nayaka, Rakesh Rajkumar, Srivatsa and Tejas Jayanna Urs play the lead roles in the movie while Nithin Krishnamurthy is the director.

What is Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare about?

Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare's narrative is set in an all-boys college hostel, and focusses on their life and how that is upended when the warden is found dead, allegedly having died by suicide. If his death was not bad enough, the warden had also left a note behind naming a few students responsible for his demise. How they deal with this dilemma forms the crux of the story while one of the students tries to complete his short film as a part of his thesis.
