Skanda OTT release: When and where to watch Ram Pothineni starrer action-drama

The year 2023 has been all about high-octane action flicks for Ram Pothineni. The actor saw through the release of his action drama, Skanda: The Attacker in late September. Not just this, the actor is also shooting for Puri Jagannadh's Double iSmart which is eyeing a 2024 release. Skanda has now finally marked its OTT debut.

Skanda: The Attacker makes digital debut

The theatrical run of Skanda saw the film collect an optimistic ₹48.75 crores at the Indian box office. The Boyapati Sreenu directorial is a typical massy potboiler with a strong dose of action. The film is now available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Not just Telugu, but the film is also available in the languages of Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. However, the film has not yet been made available in Hindi with no update regarding the same. 

Besides Ram Pothineni, Skanda also stars Saiee Manjrekar, Prince Cecil, Gautami, Indraja, Raja, Srikanth, Sharath Lohitashwa, and Prithviraj among others in pivotal roles. The film has been produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi. The music for Skanda has been given by famed music composer S Thaman.

Action appears to be Ram Pothineni's genre

Ram Pothineni's genre of pick appears to be action. The actor recently took to his Instagram stories to share a black-and-white selfie of his lean physique. This comes after the actor was seen sporting a bulked up frame for Skanda. The actor's caption for the Instagram story revealed that his ripped physique in the making was in fact for Puri Jagannadh's Double iSmart, shooting for which is currently underway. 

Double iSmart is the sequel to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar and will see Ram Pothineni reprise the titular role. Double iSmart is eyeing a 2024 release on March 8. Besides this, Pothineni will also be seen in a film helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, currently untitled.
