The Great Indian Family OTT release: When and where to watch the Vicky Kaushal starrer

Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar starrer The Great Indian Family, which released nearly two months ago has made its way to OTT platforms. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film revolved around Vicky's character Bhajan Kumar, a Hindu Pandit, who is revealed to be Muslim by birth. The film opened to negative reviews and failed at the box office, earning only ₹7.58 crores domestically.

When and where will The Great Indian Family stream

The film which marked the first collaboration of Vicky and Manushi is slated to stream on Prime Videos from today, November 17.  The 35-year-old actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a poster and wrote, "Here to drown you in humor, heartfelt love, and wholesomeness! #TheGreatIndianFamilyOnPrime, watch now".

The official Instagram page of the digital streaming platform also made the announcement along with the film's poster, stating, "An unfiltered dose of laughter, love, and heartwarming chaos! #TheGreatIndianFamilyOnPrime, watch now."

About The Great Indian Family

Produced under the Yash Raj Films banner, the film features Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma and Sadiya Siddiqui, in pivotal roles. It centred around Vicky's character, who is young, charismatic and an undisputed master of bhajan singing, has made Vicky the heartthrob of his town, but also ruined his romantic life. However, his world comes crashing down when he suffers from an identity crisis as he learns about his roots. He finds a document which reveals that he was in fact born as a Muslim. Because a full-on staunch Hindu and a massive devotee, people begin to look at him with a completely different eye. His family estranges him, while the Muslim community of the town is chasing after him in anger.

Manushi Chhilllar, on the other hand, has been shown a strong-minded and independent woman. Her character is not only a love interest for Vicky, but also a turning point in Bhajan Kumar’s life.
