Stranger Things season 5 shoot finally commences in Atlanta? Here’s what we know
Duffer Brothers, the makers of Stranger Things, had earlier announced in February 2022 that season 5 of the much-loved sci-fi show would be its final season.
Stranger Things, one of the most iconic TV shows of recent years, is finally coming to a close with its season 5. The shooting for the said season recently commended in Atlanta.
Show's lead cast spotted shooting together?
The work on Stranger Things season 5 reportedly began finally after the SAG-AFTRA strike was called off a few weeks ago. According to reports by many media portals, the lead cast of the show - Joe Keery (Steve), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Maya Hawke (Robin), and Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) - were recently spotted at the studio case for a sequence shoot.

Reportedly, the makers also clarified in another media interaction that they have not added any new characters to the show’s universe. It is also being reported that the first episode of the finale is titled “Chapter One: The Crawl.”
Final season of the show to be on-air in 2025?
As far as the show’s current storyline is concerned, season 5 of Stranger Things will mark the return of Hawkins’ heroes for many more challenges and riddles to solve, even though Eleven has banished Vecna for the time being. While the official date for season premiere is yet to be announced, it can be safely assumed that Stranger Things Season 5 will be on-air by early 2025.
The first season of Stranger Things premiered in July 2016, and received instant appreciation from both critics and audience. The subsequent two seasons released in October 2017 and July 2019 respectively, further strengthening the show’s fanbase.
