Big Comment/ Shahid Kapoor confirms Farzi season 2, says 'response was amazing'

Shahid Kapoor received a positive response for his performance in the comedy, crime thriller series titled Farzi. It garnered attention from the audience and also featured Vijay Sethupathi opposite Shahid. Recently, during an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor shared an update about the second season of the series.

Shahid Kapoor confirms season 2 of Farzi

In the interview, Shahid Kapoor opened up about the second season of Farzi and said, "So of course, the second season of Farzi will happen.  I mean, the response was amazing. Also, the way the story ended, it was open-ended so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen. It was not like a culmination. So Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I'm going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen."

During the same interaction, one of the fans asked Shahid which movie's sequel he would want to act in. In response, the actor said, "Jab ladke ko ladki mil jaati hai tab kya kahenge kahaani me?...Everybody says Kabir Singh 2, Kabir Singh 2, but Priti mil gayi. Ab main kya karun? (Now that the boy has got the girl, what is there left to tell? Everybody says Kabir Singh 2 but he got Priti. Now what should I do?)" On the work front, Shahid will be next seen in an untitled romantic film with Kriti Sanon. It will release next year in February.
