Ravi Teja starrer action thriller 'Khiladi' to get a theatrical release on February 2022

Touted as one of the most prominent action heroes of the South Film industry, Ravi Teja is on a roll with delivering back-to-back power-packed performances in some of his recent releases. After the success of Gopichand Malineni's cop-based action thriller Krack earlier this year, the actor is all set to showcase high octane stunts in the upcoming actioner Khiladi. After months of waiting, fans are now finally treated with the official release date to mark their calendars with.

Ravi Teja announces Khiladi release date

Taking to his social media handle on November 11, the 53-year-old actor shared a new poster of his forthcoming actioner Khiladi and announced its official release date. In the red-themed poster, fans get a glimpse of Teja's pensive and strong character as he sports a pair of sunglasses and smokes up a cigarette. The movie is set to grace the theatres next year in February as Teja wrote in the caption,

''See you in cinemas 😎 #khiladi February 11th, 2022.''

Director Ramesh Varma followed suit and shared the poster and release date on his Twitter by writing, 'Revealing the Release date for y’ll! Mass Maharaja Arriving as #Khiladi on Feb 11th 2022 #KhiladiFromFeb11th2022'' The excitement of the fans was reflected in the comment section as it was filled with fire and heart emojis.

The film is backed by Satyanarayana Koneru and Varma under the banner of A Studios LLP. Along with Ravi Teja in the lead role, the film also features Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi, Nikitin Dheer, Sachin Khedekar, Mukesh Rishi and Thakur Anoop Singh. Musician Devi Sri Prasad is responsible for the music in the movie. 

With only a few months left for the release of Khiladi, the makers ramped up the promotions by releasing two tracks. The first single titled Istam is crooned by Hari Priya. The second track titled Khiladi was released on the occasion of Diwali as Ravi Teja shared a new poster and wrote on his Instagram, ''Second single!! This Diwali 😊 #khiladi''

Ravi Teja is reportedly busy filming for Rama Rao on Duty and Dhamaka along with movies like Tiger Nageswara Rao and Ravanasura in his pipeline.
