Samantha Ruth Prabhu spotted at Hyderabad airport ahead of India Day parade in New York

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently on a career hiatus. The actress has taken some time off to focus on her health. On August 18, the Kushi star was snapped with her mother at the airport.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu spotted at the airport 

On August 18, the Shaakuntalam actress was ed with her mother at the Hyderabad airport. The actress was dressed in casual attire teaming white joggers with a black crop top and a denim jacket. She is reported to be flying to New York, USA. 

Taking to her social media, Samantha shared a picture with her mother. In the caption, she wrote her signature travel phrase, “#coverthefridgedoor”. The photo was taken from the airport lounge and has been doing rounds on social media. 

Samantha Ruth Prabhu to lead the India Day Parade

On August 20, the actress will take part in the 41st India Day Parade in New York. The parade is a part of grand Indian Independence Day celebrations in the United States of America. The event is organised by the Federation of India Association (FIA) and Samantha will be attending on a special invitation. Previously, actors Allu Arjun and Abhishek Bachchan have also led the parade.

While Samantha is currently on an acting break, she has been undertaking promotional work. She attended the Kushi musical concert organised in Hyderabad on August 15. However, she did skip the movie’s trailer launch. In Kushi, Samantha plays the role of a newlywed who gets married to the love of her life, Vijay Deverakonda, against the wishes of her family. The movie will release in theatres on September 1.
