Skanda Box Office Collection Day 3: Ram Pothineni starrer action film maintains pace

Ram Pothineni's surprising action avatar in Skanda definitely created an impact at the box office. Even when the film was clashing against the likes Srikanth Addala's Peddha Kapu 1 and other Tamil titles such as Chandramukhi 2, Iraivan, and more, it ended up  making more than Rs 16 crores globally. Now on its third day at the box office, the film has managed to maintain its performance on Saturday.

Skanda collects Rs 5.3 crore

Skanda, which was released on September 28, brought in Rs 5.3 crore on its third day at the box office, as per Sacnilk. This is a slight markup for the film from its day 2 haul. Skanda's collection, as compared to the Rs 5.05 crore haul on Friday, rose by 4.95%. The film is expected to perform much better on Sunday, though it remains to be seen how the Ram Pothineni film will perform in its first week overall.

On its opening day, the film brought in Rs 11.5 crore at the Indian box office. Globally, the film has collected Rs 29.25 crore, reaching close to the Rs 30 crore mark. The India wide nett collection of the film is Rs 21.85 crore.

Skanda scores at AP/TG box office

The majority of Skanda's collection comes from the AP/TG box office. While the film has minted a whopping Rs 21.69 crore in Telugu, it made merely Rs 0.12 crore for its Hindi version. Its Tamil version took home an abysmal Rs 0.04 crore. As Skanda continues to bring in audiences, it is expected to hit the Rs 50 crore mark in a few days.
