Skanda trailer out, Ram Pothineni promises high-octane action
Ram Pothineni is gearing up for the release of his film Skanda, co-starring Sreeleela. Ahead of the release, the makers unveiled the trailer at a grand event.
The makers of Skanda, starring Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, unveiled the film's trailer at an event recently. Helmed by Boyapati Srinu, the film is touted to be high on action and drama, and the same was hinted at in the 2-minute-long clip.

Skanda promises to be a mass entertainer
The trailer opens with the camera panning over the temple town and Ram Pothineni as Bhaskar, a college student, is introduced. He mouths powerful dialogues, offering a glimpse into his character and his demeanour. Although the trailer does not reveal much about the plot, Bhaskar battles goons in some power-packed action sequences.
The trailer also introduces other characters played by Sreeleela, Saiee Manjrekar, Prince Cecil, Gauthami and Srikanth, among others. As hinted in the trailer, Skanda seems to be jam-packed with powerful dialogues and high-octane action sequences, tempered with family drama and romance.
All you need to know about the upcoming film
Helmed by Boyapati Srinu, Skanda is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen in collaboration with Zee Studios. The film was tentatively titled BoyapatiRAPO until the official title, Skanda: The Attacker, was released last month (July 23). The music is composed by S Thaman, and so far, two songs, Nee Chuttu Chuttu and Gandarabai, have been released.
Nee Chuttu Chuttu is sung by Sid Sriram and Sanjana Kalmanje and penned by Raghuram. The second song, Gandarabai, is sung by Nakash Aziz and Soujanya Bhagavathula and written by Anantha Sriram.
The film will hit the theatres on September 15 in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
