Ayalaan: Sivakarthikeyan-Rakul Preet starrer sci-fi film’s trailer to release on this date

As Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Ayalaan finally gears for a release next week, the makers have made a major announcement about the film. Taking to their social media page, the Ayalaan makers informed their followers that the official trailer of Ayalaan will be released on Friday, January 5.

Ayalaan’s production faced multiple delays

Ayalaan, the sci-fi comedy starring Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh has been one of the most awaited Tamil movies for a long time now. The science-fiction film was first announced in 2021. However, the film’s production witnessed many delays and postponements due to several reasons including the setback after CoVID pandemic onset. 

Even though the film’s official audio launch ceremony was held on December 26, 2023, the film’s first single was released almost nearly 3 years ago when the film production had just commenced.

Ayalaan is directed by R.Ravikumar, who has also penned the entire script by himself. Besides Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh, the film stars actors like Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar. Additionally, Chittha actor Siddharth will be heard voicing the alien’s character, which is the USP of this science-fiction comedy-drama.

Another major name that’s part of the film’s credit list is A.R.Rahman, who has composed the music for the film. The Academy award-winning music director has even sung the second solo release of the film titled Ayalaa Ayalaa, which was released 2 weeks ago.
