Captain Miller, Ayalaan to have a delayed release in Telugu states? Here's what we know
Captain Miller and Ayalaan might have delayed release in Telugu states due to the new releases during Sankranti/Pongal.
In the Tamil film industry, Pongal is synonymous with grand releases, and this year is no exception. Three major films – Captain Miller, Ayalaan, and Mission: Chapter 1 – are set to hit the screens. The clash between Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan's films is generating excitement among fans.
On the flip side, Telugu cinema enthusiasts have their own Sankranti lineup with movies like Guntur Kaaram, Naa Sami Ranga, Saindhav, HanuMan, and Eagle vying for attention.
Uncertainty for Tamil biggies in Telugu states
The twist in the tale comes from the decision of theatre owners in Telugu states to prioritise local releases over dubbed ones. This strategic move means that Tamil releases Captain Miller and Ayalaan will see a delayed launch in Telugu states, dependent on the success and progress of the Sankranti Telugu releases. However, fans can still anticipate a grand release in other locations, setting the stage for a clash between Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan's films.
While Captain Miller and Ayalaan are set for a simultaneous release in multiple languages, Arun Vijay's Mission: Chapter 1 will be exclusively released in Tamil.
