Totally Viral/ Lokesh Kanagaraj says Karthi starrer Kaithi 2 will have all his LCU characters coming together

Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently basking in the success of his recently released film Leo. The makers of the film recently hosted a success meet, where the filmmaker interacted with the media present at the event. He also issued clarifications on the many questions that were raised after the film's release on 19 October. One of the many questions or disappointments among fans was that the film had fewer LCU connections. Lokesh, during the interaction also explained the reason behind the same.

Why did Leo have fewer LCU connections?

During the success meet, Lokesh Kanagaraj while interacting with the media said, "I wanted to focus on the film being a character analysis of Leo. I didn't want to force any more connections into the film because I didn't want the audience to move away from the main character."

Lokesh promises to bring all LCU characters together in Kaithi 2

Talking further, the Vikram filmmaker hinted that his upcoming film Kaithi 2, starring Karthi will witness all LCU characters coming together. He said, "In films from now onwards such as Kaithi 2, I will have all the characters coming together. Now that I've established all the people, it will be event based films like Kaithi or Vikram where a majority happens over one night."

Leo crosses ₹300 ccroremark in India

Leo on the 11th day of its release has reportedly crossed the ₹300 crore mark at the box office, according to Sacnilk. The film stars actors Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
