Mansoor Ali Khan, who recently apologised to Trisha Krishnan for his sexist remark, said that he will be filing a defamation case against the actress and other celebs who spoke against him. A few days ago, he issued an apology after being summoned by the Thousand Island All Women Police Station in Chennai. Soon Trisha reacted to the apology and seemingly forgave her Leo co-star in a cryptic message.

Mansoor Ali Khan to file defamation case against these celebs

Mansoor recently announced that he will be filing a case against Trisha, Chiranjeevi and Khusbhu Sundar on the charges of defamation and disturbing public peace for 10 days, civil and criminal, and pre-planned riots against him. He also said that the video in circulation (in which he could be passing sexist remarks against Trisha) was fabricated and that he would be presenting the original video and other evidence to prove his innocence.

Industry tracker Christopher Kanagaraj took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared a post that read, "Mansoor Ali Khan to file a Defamation case aganist Trisha, Kushboo & Chiranjeevi."

All about Mansoor Ali Khan and Trisha controversy

In a viral video from an interview, Mansoor said in his regional language that when he got to know that he would be acting with Trisha, he thought of a 'bedroom scene' where he would carry her just like his previous films. Mansoor said, "I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule."

This didn't go down well with the actress, Trisha took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle and called the remarks "sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic and repulsive". She wrote, "A recent video has come to my notice where Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind (sic).”

The incident created a stir on social media with several members of the South film fraternity, including Chiranjeevi, director Lokesh, director Karthik Subbaraj, Nithiin, Chinmayi Sripada, and actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, among others, voicing their support for Trisha.
