Saba Nayagan trailer: Ashok Selvan starrer is a unique take on romance and humour

Ashok Selvan starrer Saba Nayagan will release on December  15. It is all set to clash with the intense thriller Kannagi, starring his wife, Keerthi Pandian. Ahead of the film's release, music composer Anirudh unveiled its trailer.

Saba Nayagan trailer takes viewers on a fun-filled romantic journey

Anirudh took to his X handle and shared Saba Nayagan's trailer. The close to two-minute trailer takes the audience on a fun-filled romantic journey, narrating Ashok Selvan's various love stories from his school days to college life and beyond.

Selvan essays the role of a flirty youngster, consistently finding himself in the friend zone or brozone. The trailer showcases glimpses from the coming-of-age story of Aravind, aka Saba (Ashok Selvan), portraying how he falls in love with three women (Megha Akash, Karthika Muralidharan, and Chandini Chowdary) in different stages of his life. Packed with love, humour, and action, the video promises an entertaining film with a fresh twist to the familiar sub-genre of romantic comedies in Tamil cinema.

What do we know about Saba Nayagan?

The film is written and directed by CS Karthikeyan and features Megha Akash, Karthika Muralidharan, and Chandini Chowdary as the female leads.

Apart from the lead cast, Saba Nayagan also stars Mayilsamy, Michael Thangadurai, Udumalai Ravi, Arun Kumar, Jaiseelan Sivaram, Sriram Krish, Sherlin Seth, Viviyasanth, Akshaya Hariharan, Tulasi Shivamani, and others. Leon James is composing the music, Balasubramaniem, Dinesh Purushothaman, and Prabhu Rhagav handle cinematography, and Ganesh Siva is in charge of editing.

Scheduled to hit the screens on December 15, Saba Nayagan is set to clash with Kannagi as well as Naa Naa, Aalambana, and Fight Club. Kannagi stars Keerthi Pandian, Ammu Abhirami, Vidya Pradeep, and Shaalin Zoya in lead roles. The trailer of the film was released on the same day as Ashok Selvan's starrer.
