Avinash Sachdev on breakup with Rubina Dilaik: Everything comes with an expiry date

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash Sachdev shared that he and Rubina Dilaik were both quite young when they were together. He said that he was 22 years old, while Rubina was around 20. He mentioned that at that age, relationships are often marked by youthful naivety and an innocent approach. He said that he now recognises the difference between the love of their youth and the more mature love that comes later in life.

During the early stages of their relationship, the actor said that both were relatively new to the industry. He recalled Rubina entering as a heroine opposite him. He said that the particular period was a "beautiful and happy" phase, where everything felt "fresh and exciting".

'Relationships have an expiry date'

Avinash Sachdev said that relationships, like everything else, have an expiry date. He said that he believes that this is not a negative or defeatist outlook, but a natural part of life. He added that the relationship they shared lasted for as long as it was meant to, and he sees it as a chapter that came to an end when its time had come. "Everything comes with an expiry date. So, I take it in that way. Uski expiry date ho gayi, ho gayi! And it lasted jab tak usko rehna tha and it was beautiful," he said.

For the unversed, Avinash and Rubina's love story had begun when they met at a friend's place during Ganesh Chaturthi. Their relationship flourished over the years and lasted for around four years. However, they chose to part ways in 2013.
