Diya Aur Baati Hum, starring Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid, debuted on Star Plus in 2011. The hit show concluded in 2016 with more than 1400 episodes in its kitty. According to recent reports, the makers of Diya Aur Baati Hum are now planning to revive the show. It was supposed to start production in 2020 but it got pushed.

Khushi Dubey signed as the female lead in DABH 2? 

As per TellyChakkar, Season 2 of Diya Aur Baati Hum will premiere soon on Star Plus. Although the show was first announced in 2020, it appears that now it's finally ready for the premiere. It will be centred around a female IAS officer.

It is anticipated that Khushi Dubey, who is well-known for her parts in Aashiqana and Naagin, will portray the lead female character in DABH 2. According to reports Khushi will be joined by Navneet Malik and Ashish Dixit as the male leads in the show. 

Diya Aur Baati Hum 2 to replace Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si? 

DABH season 2 is rumoured to receive the original 9 pm time slot on Star Plus once it's ready for premiere. Reportedly, it will replace Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si on the channel. Earlier this month, it was reported that the Sayli Salunkhe and Mohit Malik film was being cancelled because of a decline in Total Viewers.

An insider told Filmibeat, “Star Plus is the number one channel and always wishes to entertain the audience with the best shows possible. It will be launching new content next year before the start of IPL 2023. Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si is under the scanner and might bid adieu to the show as the channel wants a strong show at the coveted 9 pm slot. It might even get shifted to a new time slot if the ratings improve."
