Abdul Quits TMKOC?: Sharad Sankla who essays the popular character Abdul in the sitcom show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. A promo of the latest track on the show features the members of the housing society Gokuldham worried about the disappearance of Abdul.

Abdul quits Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?

After the promo video of the actor went viral on social media, fans of the actor jumped to the conclusion that after Kush Shah, Abdul too would quit the show. However, as it turns out the reports are all untrue. The actor himself has confirmed that he will continue to feature in the show for as long as it runs.

The actor in an interview with Pinkvilla confirmed that he will not be quitting the show. He mentioned,  “Aisa nai hai... Audience ko galat news jaa rahi hai... Yeh bas show ka ek track hai... Jaldhi Abdul Gokuldham society lautega. Itna acha production house hai, Neela Telefilms. Asit Modi itne ache insaan hai. (It is not like that. Audiences are getting false news. This is just the show's track. Soon Abdul will return to Gokuldham Society. Neela Telefilms is such a great production house. Asit Modi is a great human being.)" He added that he would continue to feature in the show for as long as it runs.

Sharad shared, “Main zindagi mey yeh show nahi chhod sakta... Aap sabko bata dijiye, Abdul Bhai kabhi Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah nahi chodege. (I will never quit this show in my life. Please inform everyone that Abdul will never quit the show)."

Kush Shah bids emotional adieu to TMKOC

On July 26, in a video, Kush Shah arrived on a scooter in Gokuldham society. He then addressed the audience, saying, “When this show started, when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here. I have spent my childhood here and most importantly I want to thank the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mr. Asit Kumar Modi for this journey. He trusted me so much, made my character so interesting and always inspired me. Because of his trust, Kush became Goli today."

Even though he did not reveal the reason behind his exit, rumours suggest that he has moved on as he wishes to study abroad. Meanwhile, the new actor who will be playing the role of Goli in Kush's place has also been introduced.
