Rupali Ganguly has found herself at the center of controversy now. In a shocking turn, the Anupamaa actress’ stepdaughter accused her of manipulating her father and threatening the family. Ashwin, who married Rupali in 2013 after two previous marriages, shared a note addressing the controversy that erupted with an old post. In it, he acknowledged having two daughters from his second marriage, explaining that the divorce deeply affected them. This has poured the family conflict out on the social media plate.

Who is Rupali Ganguly's husband Ashwin Verma?

As per reports, Ashwin Verma is a businessman and earlier, he worked as the Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the New York Life Insurance Company in the US for 19 years.

In 2011, he quit his job and moved to Mumbai permanently, where he tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Rupali. In August 2013, they welcomed their first child, a son named Rudransh. Ashwin was married twice before taking the plunge with Rupali. He even has two daughters from his previous marriages.

At present, he co-owns an advertising agency with Rupali. Besides, he has also worked as an advertising filmmaker.

Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter exposes actress

In an old post, seemingly from 2020, Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter Esha Verma took to a social media account to share a note about the actress. Esha wrote, "This is absolutely pathetic. Does anyone know the real story of Rupali Ganguly? She was involved with Ashwin K. Verma for twelve years during his second marriage." Esha called Rupali "cruel-hearted" and accused her of driving a wedge between Ashwin and both Esha and her mother. She continued, "I’m speaking out because she publicly claims to have a happy marriage with my dad, but she’s actually controlling and psychotic toward him."

Esha’s note resurfaced and went viral after four years. On Nov 4, Ashwin responded on X (formerly Twitter) on November 3, addressing the issue. He stated, "I do have daughters from previous relationships—something Rupali and I have always been open about, and I care deeply about them. I understand that my younger daughter still harbours pain about her parents’ separation, as divorce can be a deeply challenging experience for children." In 2021, following her accusations, Esha shared a photo with her father and Rupali on Instagram. This has ignited huge controversy over Rupali Ganguly’s personal life. So far, the Anupamaa actress has not responded to the controversy.
