TV Actor Eijaz Khan opens up about his wedding plans with fiance Pavitra Punia

In a recent media interaction, TV actor Eijaz Khan opened up about his wedding plans with actress Pavitra Punia. The two have been together for nearly 3 years now. 

I am dying to get married: Eijaz Khan

While speaking to Bollywood Bubble, addressing the rumours that the couple have postponed their wedding plans, Eijaz Khan clarified that he is just as excited to set a wedding date as ever. Eijaz said, “I am dying to get married and have a family. I don’t know why people think we are pushing it back or that I am not ready,” adding that the couple is just looking for the right time. 

Continuing on the subject of their wedding, Eijaz stated that Pavitra Punia too is equally busy with her work commitments, also clarifying that it will take more time for the couple to make all the necessary preparations for a proper wedding, as compared to other couples who have their family members handling the said work-load. The actor further explained, “We don’t have like a joint family setup that is going to take care of all the nitty-gritty’s. We’ll have to take care of at least 100-200 people who will come from abroad and everything and that needs a lot of planning. It doesn’t happen within a week.”

I stopped thinking like a boy, reflects Eijaz on his relationship

Eijaz also recalled the challenges of the early days of their dating, particularly the lockdown phase when the two struggled to keep it going. He elaborated, “We negotiated that we lasted for so long but it took a toll on us. Both of us have evolved in our own specific ways. I will not call them compromises or sacrifices, but growth. In simple terms, I stopped thinking like a boy I started thinking like a man.”

The two had met while shooting for a mainstream reality show in 2020 . Initially, Eijaz and Pavitra often found themselves at loggerheads with each other. However, they gradually became friends and found comfort in each other, slowly paving the path for a romantic development. Eijaz and Pavitra got engaged in October 2022.
